DIY Cards (Watercolor Splotches)

Watercolor Splotches

  1. Measure and cut your card stock. Let’s say you want your card to be a 4×6. Then you need to measure and cut your card stock to be 8×6, and then fold it down the middle so that it’s now a 4×6 card.
  2. Start off by make a couple of splotches on your card with your paint.

  1. I like to let these 2 splotches dry a bit before I make some more so that they don’t blend together.
  2. I keep my color palette to just 3 colors to keep things simple for this card, but you do you. This is where your creativity really gets to shine.

  1. Once your initial splotches have dried some you can add another layer of splotches on top of the ones you already have. This will create some depth to the design and give it some nice lines.
